Connectors¶
Underwater connectors are a frequent point of failure on gliders. Most ground faults, and intermittent sensor dropouts trace back to a connector that was mated mis-aligned, over-torqued, or left ungreased. Correct greasing and mating technique — and a quick visual inspection of the seal — prevents the majority of these problems.
